Brian R. Latz

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brian R Latz a cherished husband, father, grandfather and friend who left this world on January 6, 2026, at the age of 70. life well lived. Born on July 20, 1955, Brian made his home in Cedarburg Wisconsin where he connected with family and friends.

Brian was known for his warm spirit kindness and infectious sense of humor often clad in his beloved Hawaiian shirts. An avid lover of John Deere garden equipment, tractors, and his Harley Davidson Brian found joy in helping others. You would often find him fixing something for someone or himself and nurturing his interests and hobbies, including the innovative world of 3-D printing where his creatively flourished.

Academically gifted and exceptionally smart, Brian pursued a successful career in research and development. Throughout his working career he worked on boats, trains, automobiles, and in the aerospace industry. He worked for notable companies, including Milwaukee Road, Aeronca,

His final endeavor involved working at Milwaukee Composites where they manufactured heated floor systems for high-speed rail. His pride in his work was rivaled only by the love he had for his family.

Brian is survived by his wife Heather, his daughter Andria son in law, JR, daughter Rachel, grandchildren, Jordan, Madison and Grayden, greatgrandchildren, Kason, Paxton, Willow and Aspen, Brothers and Sister Jeff (Casey) Rory (Mikee) Erin (Aaron) nieces nephews and many friends.

Brian’s legacy will be celebrated at a memorial service, on Sunday January 25, 2026, 3:00 PM, at the Cedarburg Cultural Center (W62 N645 Washington Ave.), Cedarburg, where family and friends will gather to honor the profound impact, he had on their lives. The family will receive friends and relatives prior to the memorial service from 1:00 PM until 2:45PM followed by the service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Brian's memory by wearing your own Hawaiian shirts, sharing a heartfelt laugh, or taking a ride on a motorcycle (weather permitting) in tribute to a man whose spirit will live on in every cherished memory. 

Brian will be deeply missed but never forgotten, living on in the stories we tell, the love we share, and the joy he brought to our lives.
