Craig W. Gundersen

Craig Gundersen, of Hartford, passed away on November 24, 2025, after a long illness, at the age of 79.

He was born on December 11, 1945, to Warren and Beverly Gundersen. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War. After his military service, he earned his BS in Business and Finance at UW-Whitewater. He proceeded to go on and get his Master’s Degree. Craig had a long career at Rockwell International.

Craig is survived by his only sister, Jamie (Harry) Bloom, of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. He was uncle to Adam (Leslie) Bloom, Aaron (Pia) Bloom, and Alyson (Joe) Lauer. He is also survived by his wives, Susan Sweeney Gundersen and Toni Gundersen. He couldn’t have found better friends than Duwayne Allen, Bob Gabel, Pastor Tim Sallach, Hury Perez, and Roberto Ferrer.

Craig was very active with the Lakefront Festival of the Arts, most of his life. He loved cars, boats, and was an avid trap shooter.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to his many loyal friends over the years. Thank You to all of you who were always there for him.
