Jonathan N. Webster

Jonathan Noel Webster, 43, of Port Washinton, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 14, 2026, at his home.

Jonathan was born on September 15, 1982, in Joplin, Missouri, to William Webster and Susan (Tiemann) Webster.

He grew up in Jefferson City, Missouri (attending Trinity Lutheran School), and Prairie Village, Kansas (where he attended Shawnee Mission East High School, graduating in 2001). Jonathan was a proud Eagle Scout and a Student Council officer.

He graduated from Concordia University Wisconsin (CUW) in 2005 with a degree in Criminal Justice. During this time, Jonathan was heavily involved in campus activities receiving recognition as the CUW Outstanding Student Leader his senior year.

After college, Jonathan began a career with Columbia-St. Mary’s Hospital in Mequon, Wisconsin which continued for over twenty years. Jonathan also served as a community reserve police office for the town of Dover, WI.

Jonathan had a strong and unwavering faith in Christ, and was deeply involved as a youth leader, volunteer, Lutheran Valley Retreat church camp counselor and in untold other supporting roles. He served St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Grafton, WI as an usher for 17 years.

Jonathan loved his family. He also loved his many friends in Wisconsin and Missouri. He was honored to be a Godparent to several children and was proud to support and encourage them in their Christian journeys.

Jonathan loved country music, concerts, his Lutheran Church bowling team, and camping trips with friends.

He was a true friend to many; loyal, faithful, kind, caring, unconditional, and incredibly generous. He was universally liked and never had a negative word for or about anyone.

Jonathan is survived by his parents, William and Susan Webster, of Prairie Village, Kansas; his brother Mark Webster (Emily) Webster, niece Caroline and nephew Andrew of Leawood, Kansas; and Dave (Madeleine) Webster of Chicago, Illinois.

Services will be held Friday, September 25, 2026 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 204 N. Pine Street, Norborne, MO, with visitation at 10:30 am and the service at 11 am and lunch in the church fellowship hall/auditorium to follow.

There will also be a celebration of Jonathan’s life in Wisconsin in the future at a date to be determined.
