Linda K. Litt

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Linda K. Litt, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and cherished member of the Grafton community. Linda departed this life peacefully on September 28, 2026, at the age of 79. Born on February 4, 1947, in Waukesha, Wisconsin, she lived a life dedicated to nurturing and caring for others.

 Linda was the proud owner and operator of Evergreen Childcare for over 20 years; she had a profoundly positive impact on the countless children who passed through her doors. Her devotion to their well-being and development extended beyond her daycare; she was also a loving grandmother, playing a pivotal role in raising her grandchildren alongside her own children. 

An adventurous spirit, Linda shared many memorable experiences with her family, including travels to beautiful destinations such as France, Ireland, Canada and Alaska, flying above the mountains in a hot air balloon, as well as trips to Disney World and Door County. She cherished the simple joys of life, taking delight in ice cream, music, bicycle rides, and long walks in nature. Linda found tranquility in the great outdoors, often enjoying boat rides and watching the sunset, moments that she treasured deeply. She was a talented watercolor artist, capturing the beauty of the natural world in her paintings.

In her passing, Linda leaves behind her devoted husband, William Litt, children, Andrea (Joe Wojciechowski) Litt, Josh (Abby) Litt, and Nathan (Sarah) Litt; grandchildren: Emma, Rose, Adam, Felix, and Brenna; and sister, Laurie (Brian) Hubbard. She also is survived by many other relatives and friends. Linda was preceded in death by her brother, Steve (Laura) Davis. 

A Celebration of Life Service will begin promptly at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 8 at the Twelve-18 Venue (1218 13th Ave.) in Grafton. Immediately following the service, the family will visit with friends and relatives at the venue until 5:00 PM. All those whose lives she touched are invited to come together to celebrate her life and share fond memories. 

Linda's spirit will continue to shine brightly through the many lives she influenced and the love she so freely gave. May she rest in eternal peace.
