It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Mike Jung, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, who departed this life on January 5, 2026, at the age of 67. Born on March 29, 1958, to Elizabeth (Biebesheimer) and Robert Jung, Mike lived a full and vibrant life in Grafton, Wisconsin.

Mike was a dedicated husband to his beloved wife, Shirley Jung, with whom he shared a joyful union on December 3, 1979, in Charleston, South Carolina. Together, they created a loving home for their two sons. Mike is preceded in death by his father, Robert. He is survived by his children Eric (Michelle) and Tyler; his granddaughter, Samantha; mother, Elizabeth; sisters Maggie (Mike) Bikman, Melissa Knox and Merrie (Chuck) Henning; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Mike exemplified the values of service and commitment throughout his life. His career as a quality control manager at EST. Co., now known as Pace Industries, spanned over 45 years—a testament to his diligence and work ethic. Mike loved being outdoors, particularly when he got the chance to hunt or fish. He always looked forward to visiting his Uncle John and cousin Ed in West Wisconsin for yearly hunting and fishing trips. Although he never bagged a deer, the thrill of the hunt brought him great happiness, and he took pleasure in watching hunting shows. He especially enjoyed the annual summer family stays at Lake Archibald in Townsend, Wisconsin with the whole extended family. A true sports enthusiast, he was a die-hard Green Bay Packers fan, often engaging friends and family in spirited discussions about the team's latest games. His love for NASCAR added to his repertoire of interests, making him a delightful companion in conversations about life, sports, and everything in between. Mike had an engaging presence and enjoyed sharing stories and laughter. Friends and family will remember him for his easy company and his fondness for sharing stories.

In honor of Mike's life and legacy, a Celebration of Life will be held by his family to celebrate his remarkable journey. The details of the service will be announced forthcoming, and all are welcome to join in remembering a man who touched the hearts of so many. As we reflect on Mike's life, let us celebrate the memories of a beloved husband, devoted friend, and a man who embraced life with enthusiasm. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will forever remain an inspiration to all who knew him. Rest in peace, dear Mike.
