Listen to Obituary

Pamela J. Steffen, a beloved mother, proud daughter, loving sister, devoted friend, and cherished member of the community, passed away on November 25, 2025. She is survived by her dear children, Tyler and Chandler Steffen, who will carry forward her radiant spirit and unwavering love.

With an insatiable zest for life, Pam loved to travel with her twin-sister, Kim, spending time at the beach, exploring new places and creating memories with friends, whether it was a spontaneous car ride or a leisurely outing in a golf cart. She was known for her infectious smile that could light up any room and her talent in the kitchen, where she cooked meals filled with love. Pam had a sweet tooth for ice cream, relishing those simple pleasures in life with the same enthusiasm she applied to everything she did. In her earlier years, Pam was an active member of her community, participating in a bowling team and enjoying volleyball and aerobics classes. She left an indelible mark as a volunteer, supporting local fundraisers with her boundless energy and dedication, helping to uplift those around her.

Pam is survived by her children, Tyler (Annika) Steffen and Chandler (Kale Knaub) Steffen, mother, Jean Michel, sister, Kim (Jim) Kilroy, and bonus-brother, John Russell. Further survived by many other relatives and friends. Pam was preceded in death by her father, Edwin Michel.

As we celebrate the remarkable life of Pamela J. Steffen, we invite family and friends to gather for a memorial service to honor her legacy and the joy she brought to so many, on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at the Rose Harms American Legion Post, in Grafton, at 7:00 PM. The family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, at the Rose Harms American Legion Post from 4:00 PM until the time of service. In this time of remembrance, we encourage all who knew Pam to share stories and reflections, ensuring her incredible spirit lives on in our hearts. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated.

Though Pam has left us physically, her warmth, kindness, and love will forever grace our lives. We will remember her not with sadness but with joyful celebration, as we cherish the moments and memories that she gifted us all.
