It is with both sadness and celebration that we announce the passing of Peter C. Collins, a cherished husband, veteran, and lifelong enthusiast, who left this world on August 24, 2025, at the age of 85. Born on August 2, 1940, Peter was a longtime resident of Brown Deer, Wisconsin, where he created a life full of love, laughter, and unparalleled dedication to his passions and family.

Peter proudly served in the U.S. Army, embodying the values of commitment and service throughout his life. He pursued his academic interests with vigor, earning a master's degree from Cardinal Stritch University, which allowed him to embark on a successful career working with computers at Wisconsin Bell, Bank One, and Ameritech. In his retirement, he brought joy to others by driving cars for Uptown, delivering vehicles with his trademark warmth and kindness.

Peter and Joanne were longtime members at St. Catherine of Alexandria, in Brown Deer, where they worshiped together and grew stronger in their faith.

Known for his love of model trains and real trains alike, Peter found joy in the intricacies of rail travel, always eager to share his passion with others. He also relished the thrill of NASCAR races, spending many weekends cheering on his favorite drivers.

Peter leaves behind his beloved spouse, Joanne Collins, whose unwavering support was a constant source of strength for him. He is preceded in death by his sister, Myrna, and lovingly remembered by his parents, Hector and Ione Collins.

Private services were held. We invite those whose lives Peter touched to reflect on their fondest memories and carry forward his spirit of enthusiasm and love.  As we remember Peter, let us find comfort in the joy he brought into our lives and the indelible mark he has left in our hearts. May his memory be a blessing, guiding us in our own journeys ahead.
