With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Rhonda Claeys (née Sullivan), who left this world peacefully, surrounded by family on October 24, 2025, in West Bend, Wisconsin. Born on November 8, 1969, in Brooksville, Florida, Rhonda brought beauty and joy to those around her throughout her life.
Rhonda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister whose love for her family was the cornerstone of her life. She was cherished by her husband and devoted partner of 41 years, Mike, and is lovingly remembered by her children Mike Jr. (Megan), Tiffany (Mike), Jacob (Angela), Angela, and Jennifer (Bryan). She will be forever remembered by her 4 grandchildren Landon, TJ, Robbie, and Alyssa. She also leaves behind her loving mother Cheryl and sister Lynda. Rhonda was preceded in death by her father and by her grandmother Gloria.
Family meant everything to Rhonda. Her grandchildren were the light of her life—she poured endless love and laughter into every moment spent with them. Her home was a haven where the aroma of home-cooked meals welcomed all who entered. An exceptional cook, Rhonda had a gift for creating dishes that brought comfort and joy to her family. Her children often returned home to visit and would look forward to enjoying one more taste of their favorite meals made with love.
Outside the kitchen, Rhonda found peace and happiness in her garden. A gifted gardener with an eye for beauty and detail, she cultivated vibrant blooms that surrounded her home with color and serenity. Her passion for arts and crafts added another layer of creativity to her life—she delighted in making things by hand and sharing them with those she loved.
Rhonda’s heart extended beyond people to include the animals she cherished. Her dogs Maggie and Libby held a special place in her heart and were treated as beloved members of the family.
Her memory will live on through the lives she touched with kindness, devotion, and unwavering love. May her legacy bring comfort to those who knew and loved her. A Visitation will be held on November 7, 2025, from 04:30 PM to 06:30 PM at Pilgrim United Church of Christ in Grafton, Wisconsin, followed by a short memorial service at 6:30 PM.
