Listen to Obituary

Sandra L Arndt aka Sandy, 82 of Grafton, WI crossed over from this world into the realms of Eternal Life June 19, 2026.

Born and raised in Milwaukee County, she moved to Ozaukee County in 1969 when she married James. This is where she would put down roots and establish not only her own family, but her “church” family at Immanuel Lutheran Church, which she was a member and served from 1969 to 2026.

Her love for gardening over the years was replaced by her joy for cooking and entertaining family and friends, from neighborhood block parties, motorcycle reunions, church counsel meetings, family birthday parties, wedding showers, anniversaries, etc. She had created the “party garage” and those who know, know what a great time was had by all at each of these events.

Downsizing in 2014, she continued her cooking and added knitting scarves and prayer blankets. When she wasn’t watching her murder mystery shows Sandy would be reading or working on her crossword puzzles/cryptograms. For the next 11 years she would also provide friends and family with her infamous seasoned pretzels.

She was put on this earth to give to others, and she was always willing to provide a helping hand and heart. But beware of the “eye” roll. Many have been familiar with it for years, but in the final months of her life her RN’s, CNAs and additional staff at her Assisted Living Facility knew she was in good spirits when she would give them that eye roll, which she carried with her to the final days of her life.

Sandy is survived by her brother John, daughter Tracy, son Troy (Stephanie), grandchildren, Skylar, JJ (Haley), Kaylee (Seth) and Cody (Payten) and great grandson Forrest. She was proceeded in death by her parents, husband James, aunts, uncles and bother in laws.

The final “Party with Sandy” will take place at Immanuel Luther Church June 30, from 11am to 1pm, Celebration of Life Service at 1pm, followed by her Christian Burial at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Cedarburg. In lieu of flowers please provide memorials to Immanual Lutheran Church (W61 N498 Washington St.), Cedarburg.

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. One who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this? “

John 11:25-26
