Terry L. Corey Jr., affectionately known as T.J., passed unexpectedly on August 4, 2025, at the age of 45. Born on April 17, 1980, in West Allis, Wisconsin, T.J. embraced life with a warmth that drew people to him. He resided in West Bend, where he built a life full of love and shared laughter with his beloved wife, Amanda, and his two sons, Tucker and Dexter.
T.J. was many things to many people. He was a devoted father who cherished every moment spent with his sons, imparting lessons from his experiences and instilling a love for the outdoors through hunting and fishing adventures. T.J. enjoyed attending his son Tucker's hockey and baseball games. He was a skilled roofer at C&K Services Inc. in the residential roofing industry, known for his hard work and dedication.
T.J.'s passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more people whose lives were touched by him. Those who knew T.J. will always remember him for his infectious smile and unique laugh. He also made sure everyone knew he held the record for being the "Musky King" from the annual fishing contest during family vacation.
T.J. is survived by his wife, Amanda (nee Cottrell), sons Tucker and Dexter; his parents Terry and Brenda Corey; his sister, Tracy Turenne (Robert), treasured niece Brianna, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friend Jesse Boylen. His absence will be felt deeply, and his spirit will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him.
T.J. was preceded in death by his grandparents LeRoy and Bonnie Pawlowski and Duane and Judy Corey. T.J. shared a special relationship with his Grandma Judy.
T.J. gave the gift of life to four others through organ donation.
A memorial service to celebrate T.J's life will be held on August 8, 2025, at Immanuel Lutheran Church (W61 N498 Washington Ave.), Cedarburg, starting at 3:00 PM. Prior to the service, a visitation will take place at the church from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, allowing friends, family, and loved ones to come together to share memories and honor T.J's legacy. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Family are appreciated.
In this time of sorrow, we hold close the memories of T.J.'s gentle spirit and remind each other to cherish our loved ones as he cherished his family. May he rest in peace.
