Theodore J. "Theo" Blasczyk

Some people leave behind buildings, projects, or accomplishments. Theodore "Theo" Blasczyk left behind something far greater: a family that adored him, friends who relied on him, and countless memories shaped by his kindness, creativity, and love.

Theo passed away on June 9, 2026, at the age of 42.

Born on September 17, 1983, and raised in Fredonia, Wisconsin, Theo graduated in 2003 before proudly serving ten years in the United States Army, including a deployment to Afghanistan with an Airborne unit.

Theo loved creating things. His hands were rarely still, whether he was casting metal, building something around the house, helping a friend solve a problem, or bringing an ambitious idea to life. He approached every challenge with curiosity and determination, and he never hesitated to share his knowledge or lend a helping hand.

He also loved adventure in all its forms. Through card games, video games, board games, and role-playing games, he created worlds, stories, and experiences that brought people together. Those gatherings were never just about the games themselves—they were about laughter, friendship, imagination, and connection.

Of all his accomplishments, Theo was proudest of being a husband and father. His wife Sarah and their five children—Collin, Romulus, Iroh, Xerxes, and Henry—were the center of his world. He encouraged them to be curious, creative, and unapologetically themselves. The lessons he taught them, the projects they built together, and the love he gave them will remain long after his passing.

Theo is survived by his wife Sarah, his children, his mother Rose Blasczyk, his siblings Jennifer (Dustin Emery) Charles-Emery, Margaret (Shawn) Techtman, Michael (Ann) Blasczyk, and Brian (Kristin) Blasczyk, along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his father John Blasczyk, grandmother Joan Blasczyk, and brother-in-law James Charles.

His life was not measured by years but by the lives he touched, the love he shared, and the legacy he leaves behind.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at the Rose-Harms American Legion Post 355, 1540 13th Avenue, Grafton, Wisconsin 53024. Visitation and gathering will take place from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., with the service beginning at 4:00 p.m.
