Craig Plopper
Funeral Director / Owner
I have been a licensed funeral director in Wisconsin since 2001, and in that time, I’ve had the privilege of serving many families throughout Ozaukee County and the surrounding areas. My father, a Lutheran minister, taught me early on to live by the Golden Rule—treating people the way that I would want to be treated. That simple lesson has shaped my entire approach to funeral service.
My goal has always been to put families first. I want people to feel safe, supported, and comfortable when they walk through our doors, especially when discussing something as difficult as end-of-life planning. I also believe strongly in education. When families understand their options, they’re able to make decisions that truly honor their loved ones.
I’ve seen how overwhelming both the emotional and financial aspects of a loss can be. By offering clear information, compassionate guidance, and helpful resources, I work to ease that burden and reduce as much stress as possible.

Chris Hubbard
Funeral Assistant
Chris Hubbard brings a warm, compassionate presence to his work with
families, offering care and support during some of life’s most difficult times.
He and his wife have called Cedarburg home for more than 25 years.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys woodworking and takes great pride in working
around his home and yard. He values time with family and friends and is
grateful for the opportunity to serve our community.
Suzanne Porter
Funeral Director Apprentice
Suzanne “Sue” Porter is dedicated to caring for families with compassion,
warmth, and a genuine desire to help during difficult times. She and her
husband Sean are the proud parents of Colton and Brooke, along with their
beloved dog, Julio.
A Cedarburg resident for the past four years, Sue is grateful for the
opportunity to serve families in her community. Outside of work, she enjoys
hiking, cycling, cheering on the Brewers and Packers, and spending time with
family and friends.
